Ms. Lisa Wilson
It is with great pride and excitement that I introduce myself as the newly appointed Assistant Principal of Goodview Elementary School. My name is Lisa Wilson and I am absolutely thrilled to be part of the Grizzly family!
Bedford is home for me. I graduated from Jefferson Forest and have lived here most of my life. I earned my undergraduate degree at the University of Lynchburg as well as my Graduate Degree from there as well.
All of my professional years in education have been with Bedford County Public Schools. I have spent my entire career working with elementary students. Before becoming the Assistant Principal at GES, I had the pleasure of being the Assistant Principal for Bedford Connects. Prior to that, I served as a Success for All facilitator, Instructional coach, mentor, and teacher. I have taught at various schools within the county as well as taught a wide variety of grade levels.
Great schools are a result of great teachers and the families that they serve. Goodview is a GREAT school! I look forward to collaborating with each and every teacher to ensure that the students at GES have a school year filled with outstanding quality instruction and the supports they need in order to be successful.
